About Cyber Suraksha

Creating a Safer, Smarter and More Responsible Digital Society Cyber Suraksha is the flagship cyber safety initiative of the Rotary Club of Poona West, launched in 2018 with a simple yet vital objective — to empower people with the knowledge and skills to stay safe in the digital world.

As technology becomes an integral part of everyday life, cyber risks are constantly evolving. Through awareness programmes, educational resources and community engagement, Cyber Suraksha reaches students, teachers, parents, senior citizens, corporates professionals and the wider community.

With the support of the Pune Police Cyber Cell, cybersecurity experts, educational institutions and other partners, the initiative addresses practical aspects of cyber safety — from online fraud, phishing, social media safety and cyberbullying to digital footprints, identity theft, online gaming, AI-related risks and the responsible use of technology.

Our Journey - Taking Cyber Awareness Beyond the Classroom

Since its launch, Cyber Suraksha has continually explored new ways to make cyber safety knowledge accessible to a wider audience.
